Kolawole Dopamu & Co is inviting applications from motivated, intelligent, and detail-oriented Law Interns (3 Positions) to join our legal practice in Lagos.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring legal professionals to gain practical exposure to real-world legal practice, client advisory, legal research, litigation support, corporate documentation, compliance, and case management under experienced legal practitioners.

The ideal candidates should be eager to learn, professionally driven, and passionate about building a successful career in legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, judicial precedents, and emerging legal issues.
Assist in drafting legal opinions, agreements, contracts, memos, correspondence, and court processes.
Support lawyers in case preparation, documentation, and litigation matters.
Review legal documents for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
Assist in filing court documents and monitoring case schedules where required.
Attend client meetings, consultations, hearings, or legal proceedings when assigned.
Support corporate, property, compliance, and dispute resolution assignments.
Organize and maintain legal files, case records, and confidential documentation.
Prepare summaries, reports, and research briefs for internal legal use.
Perform other legal and administrative assignments as delegated.
Requirements:
Currently studying Law (LL.B) or recently graduated from an accredited university.
Completion of law school attachment, externship, or prior internship experience is an advantage.
Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional discretion.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn.
Preferred Candidates:
Candidates with interest in litigation, corporate law, property law, compliance, commercial law, or dispute resolution.
Candidates residing in or around Lagos.
