SUMMARY
We are seeking a competent Senior Project Engineer, Mechanical to lead the planning, design, development, and execution of mechanical engineering projects. The successful candidate will prepare and review technical designs and documentation, including AutoCAD and Revit MEP, covering HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other ancillary services, while supporting project delivery and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering projects from design through execution and completion.
Review and approve mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance and supervision to project engineers and other team members.
Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with approved designs, quality standards, specifications, timelines, and budgets.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical solutions to project-related challenges.
Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material specifications, and technical proposals.
Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
review AutoCAD drawings and Revit MEP models.
Design and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other ancillary mechanical services.
· Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and project documentation.
· Coordinate mechanical services with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines.
· Conduct site inspections and provide technical solutions to project challenges. Supervise project execution to ensure compliance with design, quality, safety, budget, and timelines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Professional engineering certification/registration will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and project delivery.
Proven experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, project execution, and construction processes.
Proficiency in relevant engineering/design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and related tools.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
