What you’ll be doing
Overview
Support telecommunications, wireless, fibre, networking, and infrastructure deployment projects across Nigeria.
Telecommunications Engineer Responsibilities:
Install, configure, test, and maintain telecommunications equipment.
Perform fibre optic installation, splicing, OTDR testing, and troubleshooting.
Deploy and maintain GPON/FTTH networks.
Install and commission microwave and wireless radio links.
Carry out BTS/site maintenance and troubleshooting.
Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports.
Troubleshoot telecom, transmission, and network-related faults.
Support project implementation, commissioning, and handover.
Ensure installations meet technical and safety standards.
Telecom Rigger Responsibilities:
Perform tower climbing and telecom equipment installation.
Install and maintain antennas, RRUs, microwave dishes, feeders, and other tower-mounted equipment.
Carry out antenna alignment and basic commissioning support.
Assist with BTS, microwave, and wireless equipment deployment.
Perform routine tower and site maintenance.
Comply with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements.
Inspect rigging equipment and report faults or safety concerns.
Work with telecommunications engineers during site deployment and maintenance.
Work Details:
On-site role in Enugu with nationwide travel. Temporary/contract employment with rotating shifts.
What we’re looking for
Telecom infrastructure deployment and maintenance
Tower climbing and safe work at height
Antennas, RRUs, microwave dishes, feeders, BTS, and wireless equipment
Fibre optics, splicing, OTDR, GPON/FTTH, microwave radio, and wireless networks
Telecom, transmission, and network troubleshooting
HSE and telecom site safety procedures
Willingness to travel nationwide
Relevant certifications such as Working at Height, HSE, First Aid, CCNA, HCIA, HCIP, NSE, or equivalent are advantageous
