Production Superintendent

Key Responsibilities
·         Coordinate and supervise daily production activities across assigned production sections.

·         Ensure production targets are communicated and achieved.

·         Monitor operators, supervisors and production personnel to ensure effective performance.

·         Ensure proper manpower allocation and utilization.

·         Monitor machine performance and promptly escalate operational or technical issues.

·         Track production output, downtime, rejects, material usage and wastage.

·         Ensure accurate production records and reports are maintained.

·         Work closely with Maintenance and Quality Control teams to minimize downtime and quality defects.

·         Enforce compliance with production procedures, safety standards and company policies.

·         Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions for improvement.

·         Provide regular reports on production performance to Management.

Requirements
·         B.Sc./HND in Engineering, Production Management or a related discipline.

·         Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

·         Previous experience supervising production teams is highly desirable.

·         Experience in plastic manufacturing, injection moulding or blow moulding operations will be an advantage.

·         Strong knowledge of production planning, manpower management and performance monitoring.

·         Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding production targets.

·         Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

·         Must be hands-on and capable of managing activities on the production floor.
