We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Supervisor to support the implementation and monitoring of workplace health, safety, and environmental standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of HSE to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices while promoting a strong safety culture across operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine safety inspections and monitor compliance with PPE and HSE requirements
• Assist with HSE inductions, safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
• Conduct pre-shift safety briefings and communicate workplace hazards and safety precautions
• Monitor operational activities, identify unsafe acts or conditions, and implement corrective actions
• Support incident reporting, investigations, and maintenance of the incident register
• Inspect and maintain first aid facilities and support emergency preparedness activities
• Maintain accurate HSE records, documentation, and compliance reports
• Compile and submit safety data, inspection findings, and incident reports to the Head of HSE
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable HSE regulations

Requirements:

• HND/B.Sc. in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
• Professional HSE certifications (HSE Levels 1–3, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in an HSE role within manufacturing, construction, logistics, or industrial operations
• Sound knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations and industry best practices
• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles
• Excellent observation, reporting, and investigative skills
• Good communication and training delivery abilities
• Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and maintain high ethical standards
