PRODUCTION MANAGER – Plastic Manufacturing Industry
Reliable Steel and Plastic Industries Limited is seeking an experienced, highly driven and results-oriented Production Manager to lead and manage our production operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional with strong leadership ability and proven experience in managing production teams, achieving production targets, improving efficiency and reducing operational losses.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide strategic and operational leadership for daily production activities.
· Develop and implement production plans to ensure targets are achieved efficiently.
· Supervise Production Superintendents, Supervisors and other production personnel.
· Monitor machine utilization, production output, downtime and operational efficiency.
· Identify and implement measures to reduce production losses, material wastage and unnecessary downtime.
· Work closely with the Maintenance, Quality Control, Stores and other relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
· Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines and production materials.
· Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality and operational performance.
· Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards and production policies.
· Prepare and review production reports and make informed recommendations to Management.
Requirements
· B.Sc./HND in Engineering, Production Management or a related discipline.
· Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Proven experience in a senior production leadership or management position.
· Strong practical knowledge of manufacturing operations.
· Experience in plastic manufacturing, injection moulding and Hydraulics system Extruding blow moulding operations will be a strong advantage.
· Demonstrated ability to manage large production teams and achieve demanding production targets.
· Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning and decision-making skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
