Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Short-Form Video Editor to support a fast-growing personal brand in the relationship space with a large global audience. This role requires more than basic editing — we are looking for someone who understands viral content strategy, audience engagement, and storytelling to create high-performing short-form videos.
Responsibilities:
Transform long-form YouTube content into engaging short-form videos (30–90 seconds).
Extract 10–20 high-impact clips from each long-form video.
Add dynamic subtitles, compelling hooks, and modern editing elements.
Optimize content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Ensure content aligns with viral trends and platform best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience editing short-form viral content.
Strong understanding of Hook psychology, Emotional storytelling, and Audience retention strategies.
Ability to identify high-performing moments within long-form content.
Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and fast turnaround time.
Editors who think like content strategists, not just technicians.
Ability to create content that captures attention within the first 3 seconds.
A strong portfolio showcasing viral or high-engagement short-form videos.
Must submit 3–5 samples of high-quality short-form video edits, e.g., demonstrating engagement, storytelling, and strong hooks.
