Job Summary
The Operations Officer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operational activities of the organization to ensure efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies. The role involves managing administrative processes, improving operational systems, supporting business growth, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. The Operations Officer will also monitor workflow processes, maintain operational records, and support management in achieving organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate and supervise daily operational activities within the organization.
· Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
· Monitor workflow processes and ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.
· Prepare operational reports, records, and documentation for management review.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
· Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
· Manage inventory, office supplies, and operational resources effectively.
· Assist in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation processes.
· Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions for improvement.
· Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff coordination activities where necessary.
· Maintain effective communication between management and operational teams.
· Monitor staff performance and provide administrative support to enhance productivity.
· Ensure customer or client issues related to operations are resolved promptly and professionally.
· Assist in planning and executing organizational projects and initiatives.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
· Monitor room occupancy levels, reservations processes, and operational efficiency
· Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and facilities remain in excellent condition
· Conduct routine operational inspections to ensure service quality standards are maintained
· Assist management with occupancy planning, peak-period operations, and business continuity planning
Requirements & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, or related field.
· Experience within hospitality, hotel operations, or facility management preferred
· Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays where operational needs require
· Leadership and people management capabilities
· Ability to manage teams across multiple operational functions
· Proven experience in operations, administration, or office management roles.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational management tools.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Operations Officer reports directly to the Operations Manager/General Manager.
Additional Requirement
Candidates must currently reside in Imo State or be willing to reside in Mbaise, as the company will not cover relocation expenses.
