Jpatel (Kaduna) is hiring experienced Engineering/Construction Surveyors!
Requirements:
– 5-10 years experience
– Led bridge projects (min 100m span) as Project Surveyor/Chief Surveyor
– Verifiable experience in multiple bridge constructions
– Experience in setting out for piles, pile caps, column levels, piers, abutments, beams, bearings
– Location: Kaduna
-Proficiency in surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS tools.
-Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Responsibilities:
- – Provide surveying services for bridge construction projects.
- Set out and ensure accuracy of structural elements (piles, pile caps, columns, piers, abutments, beams, bearings).
- Manage survey teams and ensure project compliance.
- Provide technical expertise for project delivery.
- Set out positions for roads, bridges, buildings, pipelines, and other infrastructure.
- Use surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS, levels, and drones.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and site plans.
- Verify that construction work is carried out according to design specifications and tolerances.
- Perform topographic surveys and as-built surveys
- Prepare survey reports, maps, and data for engineers and project managers.
- Monitor structural movement or deformation during construction.
