– 5-10 years experience
– Led bridge projects (min 100m span) as Project/Lead Engineer
– Verifiable experience in multiple bridge constructions
– Location: Kaduna.
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
-Strong understanding of load calculations, materials, and structural behavior
Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and oversee bridge construction projects.
- Provide technical expertise and ensure project delivery meets standards.
- Manage project teams, stakeholders, and ensure compliance.
- Design and analyze bridge structures, including steel, concrete, and composite bridges.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and structural assessments of existing bridges.
- Develop rehabilitation and maintenance plans for aging bridge infrastructure.
- Use engineering software for modeling and structural analysis.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, contractors, architects, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with local and international design codes and safety regulations.
- Review construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend structural improvements.
- Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
