Poultry Manager

· Oversee daily operations of layer and broiler birds to ensure optimal productivity

· Manage brooding, rearing, laying, and broiler production cycles

· Monitor feed intake, egg production, weight gain, FCR, and mortality rates

· Enforce strict biosecurity, vaccination schedules, and disease control measures

· Coordinate with veterinarians and ensure timely treatment of sick birds

· Supervise poultry attendants and cold room staff; assign duties and enforce discipline

· Manage feed usage and liaise with the feed mill for timely and efficient feed supply

· Oversee egg collection, grading, storage, and dispatch

· Plan, supervise, and document broiler harvesting, processing, and sales

· Manage cold room operations for storage of dressed birds and poultry products

· Monitor cold room temperature, hygiene, power supply, and fuel usage

· Maintain accurate records for poultry production, cold room stock, mortality, medication, and sales

· Ensure cleanliness of pens, processing areas, equipment, and cold room facilities

· Monitor water supply, lighting, ventilation, and power availability across the poultry unit

· Identify operational challenges and implement cost-effective solutions

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management
