Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and organized Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality, manage staff, and maintain high standards of hygiene and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating kitchen activities and ensuring smooth service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff performance
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are maintained
Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering of supplies
Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards
Supervise and train kitchen staff
Monitor food costs and minimize waste
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
Handle kitchen scheduling and staff shifts
Requirements
Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good organizational and communication skills
Culinary training or relevant certification is an added advantage
