Job Title: Accountant
Location: Magodo GRA Phase 2

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, handle budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, and proficient in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update financial records
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements
• Prepare and submit tax filings
• Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, or areas of concern
• Manage payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursements
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
• Monitor and manage cash flow, investments, and financial planning
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist in preparing financial forecasts and risk analysis reports
• Manage inventory accounting and cost control (if applicable)
• Contribute to strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting
• Ensure timely invoicing and collections to maintain healthy cash flow
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations (if you have multiple business units)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or ACCA certification is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Excel and other relevant tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
