Job Title: Registrar
Reports to: Head of School / Director of Academics
Location: HOWBURY Polymedic College, Festac
Job Type: Full-time

Job Overview:
The Registrar is responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and execution of all academic and student records processes. This includes admissions, registration, academic records management, transcripts, timetables, student enrolment, compliance reporting, and graduation tracking. The Registrar works closely with faculty, administration, and students to support the smooth operation of academic services and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Admissions & Enrolment:
* Coordinate and manage student admissions processes from inquiry to enrolment.
*. Maintain accurate and up-to-date admission records.
*. Prepare enrolment statistics and reports for management.

Academic Records & Student Data:
* Maintain and secure student academic records, transcripts, and files.
*. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in student information systems (SIS).
*. Process requests for transcripts, verifications, and certificates.

Registration & Timetabling:
*. Oversee course registration, scheduling, and class list management.
*. Work with faculty and department heads to build academic timetables.
*..Monitor class sizes, course offerings, and prerequisite enforcement.

Compliance & Accreditation:
*. Ensure compliance with local and international education regulations.
*. Support data gathering and reporting for audits, inspections, and accreditations.
*. Prepare statistical and compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Graduation & Certification:
*. Track academic progress and graduation eligibility.
*. Coordinate student clearance and graduation documentation.
*..Organize and support graduation ceremonies.

Stakeholder Relations:
*. Serve as the liaison between students, faculty, and administrative units.
*.. Advise students on academic policies and procedures.
*. Train staff and faculty on academic processes and systems.

Requirements & Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– Minimum of 3–5 years experience in academic administration or student records management.
– Strong organizational, IT, and record-keeping skills.
– Familiarity with education regulatory requirements and student information systems.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to manage sensitive information confidentially and professionally.

Preferred Attributes:
– Experience working in a post-secondary, polytechnic, or Cambridge-based curriculum setting.
– Proactive, detail-oriented, and student-centered.
– Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and multitask.
