TAERUN is a growing eCommerce brand operating on Shopify with over 100,000 products in total, including approximately 8,000 currently active products. We focus on structured data management, product optimization, and catalog scaling to improve customer experience and drive sales.
Job Overview
We are hiring a detail-oriented Shopify Product Data Analyst to manage and optimize our product listings at scale. The successful candidate will work primarily from a pre-prepared spreadsheet, editing and structuring product information and ensuring listings are clean, consistent, and ready for Shopify upload.
This is a high-volume, performance-driven role with a daily target of 500–1000 products.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and restructure product descriptions for clarity and uniform formatting
Arrange product descriptions into a consistent structure (e.g., key details, features, specifications)
Add and organize product variations (size, color, style, material, etc.) according to Shopify variant logic
Ensure correct SKU and variant structure (no conflicts or missing variant values)
Maintain consistency across all product listings and categories
Work daily with the provided spreadsheet to update and track product edits
Prepare clean data suitable for bulk import (CSV) and Shopify updates
Avoid duplication errors and correct formatting issues
Provide daily progress reports (output count, issues found, and completion status)
Daily Target
Minimum of 500–1000 products processed per working day.
Accuracy and quality must be maintained while meeting the daily target.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Daily Output: Minimum 500–1000 products completed per day
Accuracy Rate: 98–100% error-free submissions (variant setup, formatting, and data fields)
Formatting Consistency: Descriptions arranged in the agreed structure and style across products
Variant Quality: Correct options, values, and combinations; no missing/incorrect variants
Data Cleanliness: No duplication, no SKU conflicts, no broken fields
Turnaround Speed: Consistent daily delivery and timely completion of assigned tasks
Reporting: Daily progress report submitted on time
Note: Failure to meet KPIs consistently may result in termination of the role.
Probation Period
Probation Time: 1 week.
During the probation period, performance will be closely monitored for speed, accuracy, consistency, and independence.
Successful confirmation depends on meeting the daily target and maintaining high accuracy throughout the probation period.
Requirements
Proven experience managing Shopify products (editing listings, variants, and catalog structure)
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Experience handling large product catalogs and working with structured product data
High attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies quickly
Ability to work fast while maintaining accuracy (performance-based environment)
Understanding of Shopify variant logic and product option structure
Working Arrangement
Full-Time position (Office-based).
Candidate must be available during assigned working hours and communicate daily.
