Stamford Trust Limited is financial company that specializes in MICRO – FINANCING and INVESTMENT .
We are currently recruiting to fill the position of “credit officer”.
Job Description:
– To facilitate lending for our clients by assessing credit worthiness.
– To prepare loan application, evaluating clients’ financial information and calculating risk ratios.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Review loan requests
– Assess clients’ financial status
– Evaluate creditworthiness and risks
– Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
– Analyse risks and approve or reject loan requests
– Set up payment plans
– Maintain updated records of loan applications
– Follow up with clients about loan renewals
– Monitor progress of existing loans
– Daily & weekly repayment collection
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
• Proven work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer or similar role
• Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products
• Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service experience
• NCE/OND/HND/BSc in Banking and Finance, Economics, or related field
RENUMERATION :
Starting Salary: 70,000
Flexible working hour 11am – 6pm
Yearly appraisal (Salary review based on performance).
