About the Role:
As an Investment Associate, you will support senior management in executing complex financial transactions and
providing strategic advisory services. You will identify funding opportunities, manage investor relations, and assist with
deal execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising, including sourcing, negotiating, and structuring
equity and debt transactions, and will leverage skills in financial analysis, due diligence, and market research to deliver
quality solutions for clients.
What you’ll do:
1. Develop and execute fundraising strategies for equity and debt financing to support business growth and
investments.
2. Support deal processing and assist the commercial team with preparations for investment committee
presentations, due diligence process, and management of virtual data rooms
3. Support the head of Investments with investor Q&A, investor deck preparation, handling of all relevant
financial, legal, environmental, and corporate documents, investor on-site visits, advisor selection and
coordination amongst other activities
4. Facilitate end-to-end capital-raising efforts, overseeing virtual data rooms, coordinating investor Q&A sessions,
planning roadshows, and providing negotiation support across various financial, legal, environmental, and
corporate affairs.
5. Develop and present comprehensive business cases and strategic analysis to support management decisionmaking.
6. Tracking and reporting portfolio performance to the board and or potential investors
7. Updating our financial and pricing models to reflect market changes and projections to create strategic
advantages for our firm.
8. Build and maintain high-quality and comprehensive financial models to support Rensource’s drive in the energy
industry.
Your skills and experience:
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting, is recommended. An MSc in finance or a similar field
would be preferred
• At least 5 years of work experience in a detail-oriented financial role such as investment banking, corporate
finance, private equity, finance, or strategy consulting.
• Hands-on experience with financial analysis, modelling, company valuations, due diligence and capital raises is
important.
• Knowledge of the energy industry and its intricacies will be valued
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
