JOB VACANCY – TRUCK DRIVER
Reliable Steel and Plastic Industry Limited, a reputable manufacturer of plastic and steel products, is seeking a competent and experienced Truck Driver to join our team.
Position: Truck Driver
Location: Onitsha, Anambra State
Salary: #100,000
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company trucks for the transportation and delivery of goods.
Transport products and materials to designated locations within and outside the state.
Conduct routine checks on the truck before and after each trip.
Ensure proper handling and security of goods in transit.
Maintain accurate trip, delivery, and vehicle records.
Comply with traffic regulations and company transportation policies.
Report vehicle faults, accidents, delays, or other issues promptly.
Keep the assigned truck clean and in good operating condition.
Perform other duties assigned by the Transport/Logistics Supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years’ + proven experience as a Truck Driver.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and relevant driving documents.
Proven experience driving heavy-duty trucks.
Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Ability to conduct basic vehicle checks and identify mechanical faults.
Good knowledge of major routes within the South-East and other parts of Nigeria.
Must be physically fit, responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel when required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution company is an added advantage.
