Job Description:
We are urgently recruiting for enthusiastic candidate(s) who will fill the position of a Team Lead, providing relevant support by coordinating the activities of the insurance team. These includes providing leadership and management to a team of sales agents, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining a high standard of service. You are to ensure the team achieve its goals , delivers exceptional customer service and adhere to industry regulations.
*Responsibility*
* Lead and supervise the insurance team, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination.
* Develop and implement insurance strategies tailored to the specific needs of the Oil and Gas industry.
* Oversee the underwriting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
* Manage relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Conduct risk assessments and work closely with the risk management team to mitigate potential threats.
* Provide expert guidance on insurance coverage, policy renewals, and claims management.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks affecting the Oil and Gas sector.
* Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
* Prepare and present reports to senior management on insurance performance and recommendations.
* Set performance targets for the team and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure goals are met.
*Requirements*
* Minimum of Five (5) Years Insurance experience preferably in similar organization.
* Minimum Of Bsc/HND/B.A in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or any related field.
* Proven experience in insurance operations, preferably within the Real Estate Sector.
* Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and regulations.
* Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and make informed decisions.
* Familiarity with Nigerian insurance regulations and industry dynamics.
* Relevant professional certifications in insurance and risk management.
* Proficient in using insurance-related software and tools.
* High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
*SALARY: 105k*
