Position: Professional Driver
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
Safely drive company vehicles to transport management, staff, visitors, and goods as assigned.
Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off schedules for official duties, meetings, deliveries, and errands.
Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior) at all times.
Conduct routine checks on vehicles (fuel, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes, etc.) and promptly report any faults or maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate vehicle logs and ensure proper documentation of trips, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
Adhere strictly to all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies.
Assist with loading and unloading of company items when required.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all company matters encountered during driving duties.
Provide basic support in logistics operations when not driving.
Ensure vehicle papers (insurance, roadworthiness, etc.) are up to date at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in any discipline.
Minimum of 7 years of proven driving experience in Lagos and its environs.
Be resident around Lagos Island preferably Obalende, Victoria Island or nearby areas.
Must hold a valid Nigerian Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Ability to provide verifiable references from previous employers.
Good knowledge of Abuja Road networks, traffic patterns, and alternate routes.
Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to carry out minor vehicle troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hausa or local dialects is an added advantage).
Good interpersonal skills and professional conduct.
Punctual, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
