Role Summary
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager located in Calabar. The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the business, including sales and operations. The successful candidate will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, developing strategies to increase efficiency and profitability, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives
- Oversee daily operations, including sales, services, and administration
- Drive revenue growth through sales and tailored marketing strategies
- Manage office budgets and forecasts
- Supervise and motivate staff across multiple locations
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve complaints
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality assurance processes, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in a senior management role, preferably in the transport/logistics industry or hospitality and tourism
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with the local terrain (Calabar) and its environs
- Minimum of 5 years driving experience and a valid driver’s license
- Integrity
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. A master’s, PGD or relevant certifications and training is an added advantage.
