JOB POSITION: ACCOUNTANT
LOCATION: PORT HARCOURT (NEW GRA)
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in relevant field
• 2 -3 years of experience as an accountant
• strong knowledge of Ms Excel and any accounting software E.g. QuickBooks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
• Monthly preparation of staff payroll and salary schedules for the bank for payment.
• Monthly preparation and sending out of payslips.
• Preparation and sending out of invoices as at when due.
• Review of monthly timesheets.
• Timely addressing of financial/account-related issues with employees, clients, banks, and vendors.
• Monthly preparation of staff pension contribution schedule for all pension fund administrators (PFAs) and subsequent payments of the pension.
• Monthly payments of VAT and filing with FIRS.
• Monthly payments of PAYE schedules and subsequent payment of PAYE to RIRS.
• Monthly preparation of management accounts (especially statements of profit or loss and statements of financial position) and communication with management.
• Preparation of Bid Tender Financial Requirements
