Job Summary
Nmobile is seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused IT Administrator & Customer Service Officer to support its telecommunications and digital service operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong IT/technical expertise with excellent customer service skills to ensure seamless service delivery, system reliability, and user satisfaction.
As a company providing mobile payments, broadband, VoIP, and digital communication services, this role is critical in maintaining infrastructure while supporting customers with technical and service-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
IT Administration & Technical Support
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and telecom infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot internet connectivity, broadband, WiFi, and VoIP systems.
- Provide technical support for internal staff and external clients.
- Ensure uptime and optimal performance of IT systems and communication networks.
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and system security.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Support deployment and maintenance of digital platforms (e.g., payment systems, mobile services).
Customer Service & Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and technical complaints.
- Assist customers with issues related to airtime, data, bill payments, and transactions.
- Provide guidance on using Nmobile services (wallet, transfers, subscriptions, etc.).
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Escalate complex technical or service issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical issues.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in IT support, network administration, or telecom operations.
- Experience in customer service or technical support roles is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of networking, internet systems, and telecom services.
- Knowledge of broadband, WiFi systems, and VoIP technologies is an advantage.
- Familiarity with digital payment systems or fintech platforms is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must reside in Yaba or its environs
