Pharmacy Assistant

As a Pharmacy Assistant, we expect the right candidate to have a good grasp of drugs, customer engagement, inventory management and basic knowledge of nursing. These includes:

 Dispensing of drugs and patient counseling on medication use.

 Monitoring and ensuring adequate stock level (to avoid out of stock and overstocking)

 Monitoring drug expiration dates

 Carrying out routine medical checks such as blood pressure measurement,body mass index, blood glucose measurement and malaria test.

 Maintaining proper inventories and ordering of drugs

 Coordinating drug stock taking and shelving according to class

 Verification of deliveries and costing.
