JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR ACCOUNTS / ADMIN OFFICER
GKT Consults Limited is seeking a highly competent, detail-oriented, and results-driven Senior Accounts / Admin Officer to support the company’s financial management and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, proven experience working in a structured corporate environment, and the ability to operate independently while consistently delivering accurate and timely results. The role requires willingness to work on Saturdays.
This role requires a professional who can manage financial records, oversee administrative processes, ensure compliance with internal controls, and support management with reliable financial and operational information.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including income, expenses, receivables, and payables.
Prepare periodic financial reports, summaries, and schedules for management review.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and daily financial activities.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records and supporting schedules.
Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors when required.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including tax filings, remittances, and regulatory documentation.
Administrative & Office Management
Oversee day-to-day administrative operations and ensure smooth office functioning.
Maintain organized records, contracts, correspondences, and company documentation.
Support HR-related administration including staff records, attendance, and documentation.
Coordinate office logistics, vendors, and service providers.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
Reporting & Support
Provide management with timely, accurate financial and operational information to support decision-making.
Track operational expenses and highlight variances, risks, or inefficiencies.
Work closely with management to implement improved accounting and administrative processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5years relevant work experience, preferably in a structured corporate or professional services environment.
Strong accounting background with hands-on experience in financial reporting and record-keeping.
Proven ability to work with minimal or no supervision while meeting deadlines and delivering results.
Experience working in an official, well-regulated office environment.
Good knowledge of basic tax compliance and statutory filings
Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and office productivity tools.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
