LEGAL/HR OFFICER
LOCATION: VI
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
• Draft, vet and review contracts and advice accordingly.
• Evaluate information to determine compliance with standards.
• Offer legal advice and support on issues that may affect the company.
• Ensure compliance with all the necessary statutory obligations.
• Supervise and manage employees’ issues with the company.
• Proficiency in drafting official letters.
• Proper file documentation and company secretarial issues.
• Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
• Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.
• Any other related tasks.
QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENT
o Bachelor’s degree in Law. A Master’s degree or professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, etc.) is an advantage.
o A minimum of 3 years experience in human resources and legal compliance.
o Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and regulations.
o Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
o Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
o Thoroughness in legal document review and compliance matters.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software.
