Job Description
We’re looking for a talented and passionate Laravel Developer to join our growing development team at Ecscorp & Company. In this onsite role, you’ll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications across the entire stack – from the database and backend logic to the user interface. This position requires a strong understanding of modern web development practices, a commitment to clean code, and a desire to contribute to impactful projects within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using the Laravel framework for the backend.
● Implement engaging and responsive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern JavaScript framework like React, Nextjs).
● Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to translate product requirements into both technical specifications and intuitive user experiences.
● Design and implement efficient database schemas and optimize queries (primarily MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
● Integrate third-party APIs and services for enhanced functionality.
● Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices for both front-end and back-end development.
● Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications, covering both server-side and client-side components.
● Participate actively in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest Laravel versions, PHP advancements, modern JavaScript frameworks, and emerging web technologies.
● Contribute to the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.
● Deploy applications to production environments and provide ongoing support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
● Proven professional experience as a Fullstack Developer with a strong focus on Laravel (e.g., 2+ years).
● Deep understanding and extensive experience with the Laravel framework.
● Proficiency in PHP (OOP, design patterns).
● Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
● Demonstrable experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework/library (e.g. React, Nextjs).
● Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) including database design, migrations, and query optimization.
● Familiarity with version control systems (Git is a must).
● Experience with RESTful API design and consumption.
● Understanding of web security best practices for both front-end and back-end.
● Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
