We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Sales Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on driving sales by bringing in new customers, following up on prospects, and generating leads. This role also involves consolidating items, managing inventory, and tracking items in transit, with regular reporting to the Operational/Logistics Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and follow up on sales leads to bring in new customers for our logistics services.
Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients to drive sales growth.
Consolidate items and manage inventory efficiently to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Track the status of items in transit and provide regular updates to clients and the Operational/Logistics Manager.
Report on sales activities, lead generation, and logistics operations to the Operational/Logistics Manager.
Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and attract new clients.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the logistics industry.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in tracking systems and inventory management.
Ability to generate leads, close sales, and manage client relationships effectively.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
