Job Title: Inventory Officer
Location: Caresgate Africa Ltd, Ibadan, Nigeria
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Job Summary:
Caresgate Africa Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Officer to oversee warehouse inventory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Load-Out & Inbound Process, conducting daily stock counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and ensuring 100% stock accuracy. This role is crucial in maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing stock losses, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the Load-Out and Inbound Process to ensure timely and accurate inventory movement.
Conduct daily stock counts and maintain up-to-date records of all inventory transactions.
Reconcile stock discrepancies, investigate variances, and report findings to management.
Ensure that inventory records are accurate and reflect real-time stock levels.
Collaborate with the Warehouse and Procurement teams to ensure efficient stock management.
Monitor and update inventory management systems, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Implement best practices for inventory control to reduce stock losses and improve efficiency.
Conduct periodic audits to validate stock levels and maintain stock integrity.
Ensure proper documentation of inbound and outbound shipments.
Generate and present inventory reports, highlighting key stock metrics and recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in an FMCG or e-commerce warehouse setting.
Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures, stock reconciliation, and warehouse management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other inventory management software.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Stock Accuracy Rate: 100% inventory accuracy in daily stock reconciliations.
Variance Resolution: Timely identification and resolution of inventory discrepancies.
Inbound & Load-Out Efficiency: Ensuring on-time and accurate processing of inbound and outbound stock.
Inventory Record Compliance: Proper documentation and reporting of stock movements.
