As we expand our footprint in Lagos, we are building a robust local distribution network to deliver our premium roofing solutions directly to sub-distributors and customers. To drive this effort, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Sales Operations & Distribution (Lagos) to lead our sales force, manage logistics, and support clearing operations.
The Role
As a Sales Manager (Lagos), you will be responsible for driving sales performance and expanding our sub-distributor network within your assigned territory. Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations & Distribution (Lagos), you will take ownership of business development, distributor relationships, and achieving sales targets.
You will be the face of our company in your territory, building strong relationships with sub-distributors, retailers, and construction professionals to grow our market share.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, recruit, and develop sub-distributors within your assigned Lagos territory.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and grow market penetration.
Maintain strong relationships with distributors and key customers.
Provide training and support to sub-distributors to ensure product knowledge and effective sales execution.
Work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery.
Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
Prepare and submit weekly sales reports to the Head of Sales Operations & Distribution.
Who You Are
Proven sales professional with experience in distributor management and territory sales (building materials, FMCG, or construction products preferred).
Strong understanding of the Lagos market and distribution channels.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Self-driven and results-oriented with a passion for achieving targets.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider sales team.
