As we expand our footprint in Lagos, we are building a robust local distribution network to deliver our premium roofing solutions directly to sub-distributors and customers. To drive this effort, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Sales Operations & Distribution (Lagos) to lead our sales force, manage logistics, and support clearing operations.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Sales Operations & Distribution (Lagos) will oversee all commercial and operational activities in Lagos.
You will manage a team of Territory Sales Managers, spearhead sub-distributor recruitment, handle logistics and inventory flow, and coordinate clearing of goods to ensure efficient distribution across the city.
This is a leadership role that requires a unique blend of sales expertise, operational capability, and strong execution skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and manage Territory Sales Managers to drive sales and achieve distribution targets.
• Develop and execute strategies to recruit and retain sub-distributors across Lagos.
• Oversee logistics, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products from clearing points to distributors.
• Support and coordinate product clearing processes at ports or warehouses to avoid delays and minimize costs.
• Manage distributor accounts, monitor payments, and maintain accurate sales and inventory records.
• Build and maintain relationships with sub-distributors, logistics partners, and clearing agents.
• Provide weekly performance reports and market insights to the CEO.
Who You Are
• Proven leader with solid experience in sales, distribution, and logistics management within Nigeria (building materials, FMCG, or similar industries preferred).
• Familiar with Lagos market dynamics and sub-distributor recruitment.
• Hands-on understanding of port clearing processes and local logistics coordination.
• Commercially savvy with excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and passionate about building market-leading operations.
