Overview: Responsible for registering, maintaining accurate student records, and ensuring compliance with academic regulations and policies. The Registrar coordinates courses, schedules, manages academic transcripts, and supports students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities:
• Manage student registration and enrollment processes, including course selection, scheduling, and tuition payment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including demographic information, academic transcripts, and enrollment status.
• Coordinate course scheduling, classroom assignments, and academic calendars.
• Ensure compliance with academic policies, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Provide guidance and support to students, faculty, and staff on registration procedures and academic requirements.
• Process requests for transcripts, grade reports, and other academic documents.
• Collaborate with academic departments to coordinate course offerings and curriculum changes.
• Oversee graduation processes, including degree audits, diploma distribution, and commencement ceremonies.
• Manage academic probation, suspension, and reinstatement procedures.
• Assist with the implementation of student information systems and technology solutions.
• Prepare and distribute class schedules, course catalogs, and academic calendars.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of student records and sensitive information.
• Collaborate with other administrative offices, such as admissions, financial aid, and student services, to ensure coordinated support for students.
• Participate in institutional committees, task forces, and working groups related to academic administration.
