Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Head of Marketing to lead the marketing function for Ashluxury (owned and partner brands), Ashluxe, and future brands across Africa, with a primary focus on Nigeria.
This role requires luxury fashion expertise, strong leadership, and a brand-building mindset to drive growth through strategic marketing, creative direction, and commercial alignment. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of Brand Managers, ensuring that marketing calendars and budgets are in place, creative output meets global luxury standards, and marketing efforts contribute to overall business growth.
Brand Strategy & Leadership
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for Ashluxury, Ashluxe, and other brands.
• Ensure all marketing efforts are commercially aligned, driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
• Maintain brand integrity and luxury positioning across all touchpoints.
Team & Marketing Operations
• Oversee Brand Managers to ensure marketing calendars, activations, and budgets are well-planned and executed.
• Ensure seamless coordination across brand, retail, and commercial teams.
Creative & Brand Excellence
• Ensure all creative output aligns with luxury brand aesthetics and global standards.
• Oversee campaign development, content creation, and visual storytelling.
Digital & Growth Marketing
• Lead digital marketing campaigns to enhance online presence, engagement, and conversion.
• Oversee content creation, influencer collaborations, and social media strategies to drive brand storytelling.
• Optimize SEO, SEM, and paid advertising strategies to increase brand visibility and online sales.
PR, Events & Influencer Strategy
• Oversee PR, influencer partnerships, and brand activations that elevate brand desirability.
• Ensure all events and experiential marketing initiatives align with luxury standards.
• Secure high-profile brand collaborations, sponsorships, and luxury partnerships to elevate brand desirability
• Oversee press releases, media coverage, and event sponsorships to strengthen PR impact.
Budget Management & Performance Analysis
• Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Use data-driven insights and key performance metrics (KPIs) to assess campaign effectiveness.
• Prepare reports on marketing performance and ROI for senior management.
Marketing Communication and Brand Advocacy
• Direct public relations efforts to elevate brand reputation and customer loyalty.
• Manage media relationships and coordinate marketing events to boost brand visibility.
• Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Harness storytelling to create a strong emotional connection with the brand.
• Leverage social media and influencer partnerships to amplify brand messages.
• Ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging across all communication channels.
Qualification and Key Competencies
• 7+ years of experience in luxury, fashion, or premium lifestyle brands.
• Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to link marketing strategy to business growth.
• Experience managing regional brand strategy within Nigeria or broader African markets.
• Proven leadership experience in managing Brand Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning, creative direction, and storytelling.
• Familiarity with digital marketing, retail activations, and influencer marketing.
• Excellent project management and budget management skills.
