JOB SUMMARY
Aniso Specialist Medical Centre is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to handle daily transactions, maintain accurate financial records and support smooth billing operations.The ideal candidate must be computer-literate and able to follow instructions and prompts accurately.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle cash, POS and transfer payments for patients and issue receipts promptly.
Record all transactions accurately in the hospital’s billing/accounting software.
Reconcile daily collections and prepare end-of-day summaries.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure accountability of funds.
Assist in billing processes and collaborate with front desk and records staff.
Ensure compliance with hospital financial policies and procedures.
Report discrepancies or irregularities immediately to the supervisor.
Maintain a professional attitude and provide courteous service to all patients.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
Previous experience as a cashier or accounts clerk is an added advantage.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
High computer literacy – ability to use billing software, Microsoft excel and POS systems efficiently.
Ability to follow instructions and on-screen prompts carefully.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail, honesty and integrity.
Must live in Benin-city.
