JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Overview:
Aniso Specialist Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Billing & Office Assistant to support our billing, HMO, and administrative operations. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to gain practical experience in a supportive healthcare environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:
Process HMO claims, track submissions, and follow up on approvals.

Review and prepare accurate billing statements based on HMO tariffs.

Review and cross-check HMO tariffs.

Reconcile cashier reports and maintain accurate financial records.

Maintain organized billing documentation for easy reference and audits.

Handle email communications related to HMO claims, inquiries, and billing issues.

File and update hospital documents in accordance with administrative protocols.

Conduct office errands, such as delivering official documents and correspondence.

Provide administrative support to the Billing/Admin department, assisting with routine tasks.

Requirements:
Minimum qualification: OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Medical records, Health Technology or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.

Good computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Excel and email communication.

Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical skills for reviewing financial transactions and billing data.

Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies in records and billing claims.

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external HMO representatives.

Basic customer service skills to assist patients with billing inquiries.

Must reside in Benin city as those outside Benin would not be considered.
