Job Title: Execution Officer – Finance and Accounts
Location: ikeja
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a competent and results-driven Execution Officer in the Finance and Accounts department. This role involves executing day-to-day financial operations, supporting transaction processing, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
•Execute and process financial transactions including payments, receipts, and journal entries
•Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
•Maintain and update ledgers, accounts, and supporting documentation
•Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and petty cash balances
•Support budget implementation, monitoring, and reporting
•Ensure accurate and timely data entry into accounting systems
•Adhere to internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
•Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for financial matters
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
•Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
•Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
•Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines
•Strong organizational and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
•Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CPA) in progress or completed
•Experience working in a fast-paced finance department
•Knowledge of local tax laws and financial reporting standards
