✔ Ability to break down complex concepts using multiple teaching approaches
✔ Patient, detailed, gentle but firm teaching style
✔ Ability to give structured homework with timely marking and detailed feedback
✔ Strong lesson organisation and student progress tracking
✔ Proof of past student success (results required)

Responsibilities
✔ Deliver structured, syllabus-aligned lessons covering all topics in Cambridge IGCSE Biology (0610/0970)
✔ Teach both theory and practical components, including experimental skills and data analysis
✔ Break down complex biological concepts using multiple teaching approaches and tools (diagrams, simulations, real-life examples)
✔ Prepare students using past papers, exam-style questions, and mock tests
✔ Train students on exam techniques, command words, and mark scheme expectations
✔ Assign well-structured homework regularly
✔ Provide timely, detailed marking and constructive feedback to improve performance
✔ Track and monitor student progress with clear performance reports
✔ Identify weak areas and implement targeted improvement strategies
✔ Maintain a patient, supportive, yet firm teaching approach to ensure discipline and progress
✔ Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and student abilities
✔ Use online teaching tools effectively (interactive whiteboards, slides, annotations, quizzes) to enhance engagement
✔ Communicate professionally with students (and parents where necessary) regarding progress and performance
