Job Summary
Nmobile is seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused IT Administrator & Customer Service Officer to support its telecommunications and digital service operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong IT/technical expertise with excellent customer service skills to ensure seamless service delivery, system reliability, and user satisfaction.

As a company providing mobile payments, broadband, VoIP, and digital communication services, this role is critical in maintaining infrastructure while supporting customers with technical and service-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

IT Administration & Technical Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and telecom infrastructure.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot internet connectivity, broadband, WiFi, and VoIP systems.
  • Provide technical support for internal staff and external clients.
  • Ensure uptime and optimal performance of IT systems and communication networks.
  • Manage user accounts, access controls, and system security.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Support deployment and maintenance of digital platforms (e.g., payment systems, mobile services).

Customer Service & Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and technical complaints.
  • Assist customers with issues related to airtime, data, bill payments, and transactions.
  • Provide guidance on using Nmobile services (wallet, transfers, subscriptions, etc.).
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
  • Escalate complex technical or service issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in IT support, network administration, or telecom operations.
  • Experience in customer service or technical support roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of networking, internet systems, and telecom services.
  • Knowledge of broadband, WiFi systems, and VoIP technologies is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with digital payment systems or fintech platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must reside in Yaba or its environs
