Position: Trainee Community Engagement Officer (12 months)
Location: 9 Shittu Street, Alimosho (Near Command Secondary School, Ipaja) Employment Type: Part-time (25 hrs per week)
Salary: Starting from ₦70,000 per month

Role Overview:
As a Trainee Community Engagement Officer, you will learn to support initiatives that strengthen community connections and foster active participation. Through on-the-job training and mentorship, you’ll develop the skills needed to build relationships, organize events, and promote our work within the community. The training is for 12 months with a possibility of being hired after completion of training.
Key Responsibilities:
- ● Assist in planning and delivering community events, workshops, and outreach activities.
- ● Help build relationships with local groups, organizations, and stakeholders.
- ● Support communication efforts, including social media posts, newsletters, and community updates.
- ● Collect and analyze community feedback to improve engagement strategies.
- ● Represent the organization at events and meetings as needed.
- ● Contribute to the evaluation and reporting of community engagement activities.
- ● Staff the learning centre for 20 hrs a week including 4 hrs on Saturdays What We’re Looking For: The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, reliability, and self-discipline. We are looking for enthusiastic and community-minded individuals who are eager to learn and grow in this role. You don’t need prior experience—just a positive attitude and a genuine interest in making a difference. Essential Skills and Qualities:
