Position: Legal Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Legal Officer to provide expertise in both legal and human resources functions, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, vet and review contracts and advice accordingly.
- Offer legal advice and support on issues that may affect the company.
- Ensure compliance with all the necessary statutory obligations.
- Supervise and manage employees’ issues with the company.
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures
Relevant Work Experience/ Qualification
- LL.B (Hons)
- Call to Nigerian Bar
- Between 2– 3 years post-call experience.
- Proficiency in Nigerian labour law and regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
