Job Summary
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing the organisation’s online presence with a strong focus on sales conversion. You will combine creative content creation with sales psychology to turn social media engagement into leads, registrations, and revenue. This role demands strategic planning, meticulous execution, and the ability to measure success through analytics, while proactively driving conversions and audience growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media & Content Management
Develop and execute engaging content strategies across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business, and other relevant platforms.
Maintain weekly and monthly content calendars, ensuring alignment with training programs, enrollment periods, and promotional campaigns.
Write persuasive captions, calls-to-action, and promotional copy aimed at converting followers into leads.
Manage all social media interactions, including comments, direct messages, and inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
Monitor trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve and inform content planning.
2. Sales & Lead Conversion
Respond to social media inquiries and convert leads into registrations or appointments.
Follow up on warm leads generated via posts, ads, stories, and campaigns.
Collaborate with management to highlight upcoming programs, events, or product launches.
Maintain accurate records of inquiries, conversions, and customer interactions.
3. Advertising & Campaign Support
Assist with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns, providing sales-focused content and copy.
Monitor ad performance and provide input for optimisation based on lead quality and engagement metrics.
Promote special offers, deadlines, and program launches to maximise conversions.
4. Analytics & Reporting
Track engagement, reach, inquiries, and conversion rates across platforms.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports to measure success and inform strategy.
Make actionable recommendations for improvement based on analytics, trends, and audience behaviour.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Digital Marketer, or Sales Executive with direct social media responsibilities.
Strong sales, persuasion, and customer engagement skills.
Demonstrated ability to convert online leads into paying clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business, and Meta Ads.
Highly organised, proactive, and target-driven.
Based in Abuja or able to commute for in-person workdays.
