Job Description
A reputable organization located in Ojo/Amuwo Odofin is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join the team. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support the company in maintaining healthy financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and records
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Handle general ledger entries and reconcile accounts
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor and track company expenses, budgets, and cash flow
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Support management in financial analysis and decision-making
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial information
Requirements
Minimum of BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years relevant experience in accounting or finance role (in a food industry is a plus)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
