JOB OVERVIEW:
The Head of Operations is responsible for designing and executing efficient operational strategies across all subsidiaries of the organization. This individual will oversee day-to-day activities, ensure optimal performance across departments, and align operations with the company’s strategic vision. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, process-oriented, and capable of managing the complexities of a multi-sector organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· General Operations Management
ü Oversee daily operations across all verticals: e-commerce, academy, loan services, and POS services.
ü Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality across functions.
ü Monitor operational KPIs and ensure adherence to SLAs, timelines, and targets
ü Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure smooth organizational coordination.
· E-commerce
ü Supervise vendor onboarding, product logistics, delivery systems, and customer satisfaction frameworks. Ensure efficient last-mile delivery, inventory management, and vendor relations.
ü Work closely with product and tech teams to optimize the Vendor, Customer, and Rider apps.
ü Ensure compliance with regulatory and consumer protection laws.

· Edutech (Academy)
ü Oversee administrative and academic operations, curriculum rollout, and tutor recruitment.
ü Ensure student enrollment targets, platform usability, and learner satisfaction.
ü -Develop operational strategies for online and physical training delivery.
ü Collaborate with content creators, instructors, and the tech team for course availability.
· Loans and POS Business
ü Ensure the efficient deployment and maintenance of POS terminals.
ü Oversee credit application processes, risk assessments, and loan disbursement workflows.
ü Ensure all CBN compliance standards are met.
ü Implement fraud control measures and risk mitigation strategies.
· Strategic & Team Leadership
ü Lead, mentor, and motivate operational team leads across all businesses.
ü Participate in long-term strategic planning and expansion discussions.
ü Continuously identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
ü Prepare regular operational reports and insights for executive leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA or certifications a plus).
· 5–10 years in operational leadership roles, preferably across tech, fintech, or e-commerce.
· Experience managing multi-vertical operational models.
· Proven track record in implementing systems and improving productivity.
· Deep knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
· Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Tech-savvy and systems-oriented
