Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Managing Editor to oversee the editorial operations of ddnewsonline.com. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to our newsroom, maintain editorial standards, and ensure that stories are accurate, timely, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and guide reporters, field correspondents, and contributors.
Plan, assign, and edit stories for clarity, accuracy, and impact.
Ensure adherence to editorial policies and ethical journalism practices.
Coordinate with other departments (advertising, design, digital) to optimize content reach.
Drive innovation in digital storytelling, multimedia, and investigative journalism.
Requirements:
Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field.
At least 5 years of editorial/newsroom leadership experience.
Strong editorial judgment and excellent writing/editing skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
