Position Summary
The HR Officer is both strategist and operator—responsible for end-to-end talent management (recruitment → onboarding → engagement → performance → retention) while ensuring every HR touch-point embodies our culture of innovation, empathy, and 24/7 service excellence. You will be the go-to partner for employees and managers, championing best-practice HR policies and data-driven people decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Talent Management & Employer Branding
• Facilitate recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer reference checks, and pre-employment medicals.
• Build and maintain a live talent pipeline reduce average time-to-hire by 20 %

• Represent Company at career fairs, tech meet-ups, and nursing schools to strengthen our employer brand.
• Onboarding & Orientation
• Design a 30-60-90-day digital onboarding journey that integrates new hires into our health-tech culture and ensures 90 % e-policy completion within the first week.
• Coordinate with IT, Compliance, and Team Leads for seamless provisioning of tools, badges, and system access.
• Employee Relations & Engagement
• Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries; resolve >95 % within 48 hrs through our HRIS ticketing module.
• Plan monthly culture events, wellness challenges, and “Lunch & Learn” sessions; target ≥75 % participation.
• Conduct stay & exit interviews; produce quarterly insights to reduce regrettable attrition.
• Performance & Learning
• Administer the OKR cycle (quarterly check-ins, mid-year review, annual appraisal) within the HRIS.
• Identify skills gaps and source micro-learning or external training partners; track ROI via post-training assessments.
• Compensation & Benefits Administration
• Maintain accurate payroll inputs (leave, overtime, allowances) and liaise with Finance for monthly pay runs.
• Manage HMO staff enrollment, leave balances, and statutory remittances (PAYE, pension, NSITF, NHF).
• Compliance & HR Analytics
• Ensure 100 % compliance with Nigerian Labour Act, NHIS regulations, and internal HR policies.
• Generate real-time dashboards on headcount, turnover, cost-per-hire, and diversity metrics for the executive team.
• Ensure compliance with provisions of Company Employee/Staff Handbook.
• HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
• Lead digitization initiatives (e.g., e-signatures for contracts, automated birthday greetings).
• Support Head of People & Culture in annual manpower budgeting and strategic workforce planning.
• Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow and member satisfaction.
• Serve as Secretary for Management Meetings

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years progressive HR generalist experience, preferably in healthcare, fintech, or high-growth tech start-ups.
• Proficiency in using a HRIS system.
• Solid knowledge of Nigerian labour law, NHIS regulations, and statutory payroll requirements.
• Strong Excel & data-visualization skills.
• The candidate should have professional membership of the CIPMN (in line with NHIA requirements).
