A Distribution Officer is responsible for managing the distribution of products or goods from the warehouse to customers, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient distribution.
2. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and track stock movements.
3. Delivery Coordination: Coordinate with drivers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
4. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and resolve any delivery issues.
5. Stock Management: Ensure accurate stock levels and report any discrepancies.

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of logistics and distribution principles.
2. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and optimize distribution routes.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve delivery issues and problems.
5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software and systems.

Qualification:

BSc, HND, ND with minimum of 1 year work experience in marketing, business or any related field
