Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Micro Loan Officer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will have prior experience in microfinance bank marketing and will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and managing a portfolio of microloans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase loan portfolio growth
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about market trends
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service
* Assess loan applications, conduct risk assessments, and make recommendations for approval
* Manage a portfolio of microloans, ensuring timely repayments and minimizing defaults
* Collaborate with the credit team to ensure effective credit management
* Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead, Microfinance
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Micro Loan Officer in a microfinance bank
* Strong knowledge of microfinance products and services
* Excellent sales and marketing skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan management software
